	This may be the first
 theory of human intelligence starting at the physiological level as contrasted
with many theories about intelligence.  The difference is that
Minsky purports to construct a theory that would enable its
possessor to construct a human-like intelligence, whereas previous efforts
merely make scattered observations about intelligence, perhaps permitting
the possessor to construct a few intelligence tests.  Newell and Simon
also have theories of human intelligence starting at the psychological
level.  I have worked on theories of artificial intelligence without
especial effort to model human intelligence either physiologically or
psychologically.
